French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s eldest son, Pierre, was hospitalized with poisoning in Ukraine’s city of Odessa on Wednesday morning, a source from the municipal authorities said.
Pierre Sarkozy, a rap producer also known as DJ Mosay, was performing at a private party held at a night club in Odessa on Tuesday night. He felt ill after the party and was taken to a hospital the next morning. Doctors diagnosed him with poisoning, but did not specify which type.
The source in the city administration said that the 26-year-old has already departed for France.
“A plane with Nicolas Sarkozy’s son has already taken off from the Odessa International Airport,” the source said.
Pierre Sarkozy is the French president's eldest son by his first wife, Marie-Dominique Culioli.
