At least 22 people killed and 10 injured after strong fire in a rehabilitation center for drug addicts in Peruvian capital of Lima, Peru's mass media reported on Saturday.
Under preliminary information, one of patients set mattress on fire in protest against actions of center's staff, while under another version a gas cylinder blew up during breakfast. After the incident people could not leave the center immediately as all entrances and exits were closed.
Media said there were about 50 people in the rehabilitation center based in one of the poorest districts of Lima. Firefighters have been trying to put out fire since Saturday's morning.
