Two offices of the ruling United Russia party in northeastern Moscow were pelted with Molotov cocktails overnight, a law enforcement source said on Tuesday.
Neither attack did much damage, and no injuries were reported. In one case, the attackers were chased away by a passer-by who stomped out the fire before the police or the firefighters arrived.
Neither the party nor city police commented on the incidents or named any suspects. United Russia found itself a target of sweeping street protests after the December parliamentary elections, in which it scrambled to clutch a majority. Critics accuse it of widespread vote rigging to the purpose.
Three more United Russia offices have been attacked in Moscow since December. In one case, the assailants targeted the same office that was torched on Monday, but also failed to inflict significant damage.
