Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Friday proposed an individual performance assessment system for civil servants.
“There is a KPI system that is used in many countries and it should be introduced here,” Putin said, referring to Key Performance Indicators.
He directed Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina to invite the business community to make proposals regarding the issue and to take them into account when developing a new system.
Putin, who is running for president in the March 4 election, has made a leaner administration, as well as the fight against corruption, part of his election program.
