CSKA Moscow are yet to receive offers for highly rated striker and reported English Premier League target Seydou Doumbia, chairman Yevgeny Giner told RIA Novosti on Friday.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur had been linked with the 24-year-old Ivorian, who is the Russian Premier League's top scorer with 24 goals in 30 games this season.
"We haven't received any offers yet for Doumbia from the top clubs, because they play top dollar, so they want to see two or three years of stable football from the player, and not just stunning form for a year only for him to peter out," Giner said in the rare interview.
"I think that if there will be any offers for Seydou, it will be in the summer of 2012."
Doumbia, currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the African Nations Cup, is on record as saying he would like to play with compatriot Didier Drogba at Chelsea.
CSKA, who last week sold striker Vagner Love to Brazilian side Flamengo, have brought in three other players in the January transfer window.
Last month, Sweden midfielder Pontus Wernbloom, 25, joined on a four-and-a-half-year contract from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, along with Nigerian teenage winger Ahmed Musa, who came from VVV-Venlo.
On Wednesday CSKA also announced the signing of little-known South Korean midfielder Kim In-Sung from the country's second division club Gangneung City FC.
