At least 14 people were killed and some 50 believed to be missing after a gas explosion at a pharmaceuticals factory in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, local Geo TV channel reported on Tuesday.
The three-storey factory caved in on Monday after several gas cylinders exploded in the boiler room. Neighboring houses were also damaged by the blast.
Rescuers continued relief operation overnight as some 50 people believed to be trapped under the debris of the factory that employed mostly women and children.
According to Associated Press, the factory was set up illegally in a residential area of Lahore and was owned by a local politician.
