A car bomb blew up on Sunday at a residential neighborhood in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, the country's state news agency SANA said, calling it a "terrorist bombing".
The report from SANA gave no information on casualties or damage. On Saturday two lethal blasts hit Damascus, where the regime enjoys strong support.
The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the blast killed at least three civilians and wounded more than 25 others. The monitoring group said the blast had been close to a state security office.
