A spectacular looping volley from Pavel Yakovlev secured Krylya Sovetov a precious 1-0 win over relegation rivals Spartak Nalchik in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.
Second-half substitute Yakovlev, who is on loan from Spartak Moscow, struck from the edge of the penalty area with his back to goal after the ball pinballed around the box just after half time.
Krylya leave the bottom three with the win, leapfrogging FC Volga, who lost 2-1 at home to Krasnodar on Saturday.
