Four activists of notorious Ukrainian women's rights movement FEMEN barricaded themselves at the bell tower of the St. Sofia Cathedral in central Kiev on Tuesday. They were protesting against draft law submitted to the Supreme Rada (parliament) that would ban all abortions in Ukraine except for cases when a woman's life is threatened.
They were detained by the police and are facing a fine, an administrative arrest or corrective labor.
