Three people were killed when a train hit them in the Moscow Region to the south of the Russian capital, investigators reported.
“A train ran over two men and a woman who, according to preliminary data, were sitting on the railway tracks between the Podolsk and Silikatnaya stations,” the interregional transport investigative department said in a statement.
“They died from injuries on the site,” it said.
An investigation is underway.
