Russia's national football team has organized an exhibition match against the United States in November, the Russian Football Union chief said Thursday.
Sergei Fursenko did not name a concrete date, but on the union's website there is an open date for November 14.
"In November we'll play the Americans," he said in televised comments. "The question of where the match will take place is under discussion, it will probably go ahead where it's warm," he said, without elaborating.
Russia have never lost to the United States in four matches. The Russians have won two - the last 2-0 in Moscow in 2000 - and two have been drawn.
The U.S. stands at 29th in the latest FIFA rankings, 18 places below Russia.
Russia is scheduled for three friendlies before Euro 2012, which kicks off June 8.
They play Uruguay in Moscow on May 25, before facing Lithuania on May 29 and Italy in Switzerland on June 1.
