An exhibition organized by the Moscow Metro and the city’s State Darwin Museum opened at Vorobyovy Gory station on the subway’s Sokolnicheskaya Line on April 20.
An exhibition organized by the Moscow Metro and the city’s State Darwin Museum opened at Vorobyovy Gory station on the subway’s Sokolnicheskaya Line on April 20.
The exhibition features items from the Darwin Museum’s animal sculpture collection, the museum’s press service said.
The items on display include sculptures of the Asian black bear, the Tasmanian wolf, snowy owl, fox, crocodile, frill-necked lizard, chameleon, a female tiger with cubs, as well as those of Peterbald cat, a bull terrier with puppies, and the Russian wolfhound.
The large cases, which decorate one of Moscow Metro’s most unusual stations located on the bridge over the Moskva River, feature the museum’s works by both eminent and young artists.
The exhibition showcases works by 15 artists.
