More than 1.2 million people took part in this spring's first volunteer clean up in Moscow.
Almost 3,000 trees and 8,800 bushes were planted in Moscow parks during the volunteer cleanup. About 5,700 hectares of lawns and flowers were planted on 24,000 square meters.
In addition, about 22,100 facades were scrubbed up.
