Olympic silver medalists Anastasia Pozdniakova and Yulia Koltunova are certainties to participate in the London 2012 diving competitions, Russia team coach Oleg Zaitsev told RIA Novosti on Sunday.
"Everything is settled regarding the female squad," Zaitsev said, adding that national championship silver medalist Nadezhda Bazhina was also guaranteed a spot.
Koltunova, 22, who won the silver in the 10 meter platform at Athens 2004, would be in the same event at London, Zaitsev said.
Pozdniakova, 26, who took the synchronized silver with Yuliya Pakhalina in Beijing, would team up with Bazhina this time around, he said.
Earlier Sunday, Pozdniakova won the 1 meter springboard diving event at the Russian championships in Petersburg, with Bazhina taking silver.
