The Russian national team has finished top of the medals table at the London round of shooting’s World Cup, a test event for the Olympic Games this summer.
Russian shooters took two gold and four silver medals with Mikhail Leybo winning the double trap and Aleksei Klimov taking gold in the rapid fire pistol event.
Vladimir Isakov, a bronze medalist at the last two Olympics, was second in the 10-meter air pistol and 50-meter pistol. Aleksei Alipov and Elena Tkach each won silver in the trap.
The shooting World Cup of London took place from 17 through 29 at the Royal Artillery Barracks in London, where the Olympic shooting will be held.
