The Olympic Flame of the 30th summer Olympics in London was lit in Ancient Olympia in Greece from the sun’s rays with the use of a parabolic mirror on May 10. On the same day, the Olympic Torch Relay began around Greece and the Flame is to be handed over to Britain in Athens on May 17.

In the week before the London Olympics start on July 27, the Flame will travel across London and ended up going down the Thames to its destination, the Regal Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
