Russian oil giant Rosneft's board of directors has appointed former Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin as company president, Rosneft said on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed an order to appoint Sechin as chief executive officer of Russia's largest oil company on Tuesday. Sechin was in charge of Russia's fuel and energy sector in the previous government.
Rosneft's former president and board chairman, Eduard Khudainatov, has been appointed first vice president and deputy chairman of the management board in the company.
