The Communist Party of the Russian Federation denied on Monday media reports that its leader, Gennady Zyuganov, has had a heart attack.
Zyuganov is currently staying at the Kislovodsk North Caucasus spa where he is receiving treatment for a knee problem and high blood pressure, his press office said.
The Lifenews.ru portal said earlier on Monday that Zyuganov, 67, could have been affected by a recent election campaign, as well as by the weather, adding he will shortly be transported to Moscow.
