Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo conceded on Friday that "a draw would not be too bad" in his country's Euro 2012 opener against tournament favorites Germany.
A point against the 2010 World Cup finalists combined with a win against Denmark and a draw against the Dutch could see the Portuguese sneak second place in the group of death if the other games go according to form.
"Let's see what happens on the pitch," a relaxed Ronaldo said about Saturday's game in Lviv. "A draw would not be too bad."
Ronaldo, who at 27 already has 90 caps for Portugal, acknowledged that result would not come easily.
"We know it's going to be a real battle against them."
Portugal's tag as underdogs makes the job easier against the Germans, the former Manchester United forward said.
"We're not the favorites, which is good for us because it takes off some of the pressure," before adding he trusted his teammates to help him pull a shock out of ther bag.
"I really believe in this team."
Ronaldo will come up against two Real Madrid clubmates in midfielder Sami Khedira and striker Mesut Ozil.
"Those two are friends of mine, we haven't talked to each other too much - we don't trust each other too much," he quipped.
