Germany and Portugal’s football federations face disciplinary hearings on charges relating to their Euro 2012 opener, UEFA said Sunday.

The German charge relates to their fans throwing missiles onto the pitch during the 1-0 win over Portugal, whose federation is charged because of their team’s role in delaying the start of the second half.

Germany and Portugal’s federations join Russia’s in the dock after UEFA opened disciplinary proceedings the Russian Football Union relating crowd disturbances and the throwing of pyrotechnics during Russia’s 4-1 win over the Czech Republic on Wednesday.

The president of the Russian Football Union, Sergei Fursenko, said Sunday he expected his organization to be fined $10,000.

Separate claims of racist chanting are being investigated by UEFA and Football Against Racism in Europe, which places observers at games to listen for racist abuse.
