Martini and Mini Taxi have teamed up on a drinks promotion in Moscow that offers taxi service to bar patrons who achieve a specified level of intoxication.
Drinkers can measure their blood alcohol content using breathalyzers, called Takemehome Machines, installed at participating bars and clubs in Moscow. They are elible to blow into the machine whenever they order a Martini cocktail. If that level is high enough, they win a discount of up to 30 percent discount on a ride with Mini Taxi.
In addition, as people blow into the breathalyzer, the machine takes a picture of them, which is then available for sharing on social networks.
The joint promotion is aimed at encouraging responsible drinking, the companies said.
