As summer arrived to Moscow, several elk were spotted in the capital’s parks, the largest of which is called Losiny Ostrov (Elk Island).
Vera Kiseleva, the park deputy director, said that elk like to walk for long distances and are not afraid of the concrete jungle. She added that Muscovites should not feed or scare elk that will go back to the woods when they are tired of the city’s buzzing.
