Russian forward Dmitry Bulykin has joined Dutch side FC Twente on a two-year deal, the player’s agent Andrey Golovash told R-Sport on Friday.
The 32-year-old striker has made a big impression since arriving in the Dutch league in 2010, netting 30 goals in his first two seasons, and was part of the Ajax team that won the title last season.
Bulykin refused to extend his contract with the champions, saying he was tired of starting from the bench, and left as a free agent.
The ex-Russia international has 15 caps and has scored seven goals for his country.
Twente finished sixth last season and are playing in this season’s Europa League, where they drew the first leg of their second qualifying round clash with Finland’s Inter Turku 1-1.
