Zenit St. Petersburg have agreed to allow Hungarian midfielder Szabolcs Huszti to leave for his former side Hannover 96, the Russian club said Monday.
Huszti, 29, has a record of 12 goals in 85 games at Zenit since joining from Hannover in 2009, but has failed to hold down a first-team place as Zenit swept to back-to-back Russian titles.
"Szabolcs will become a Hannover player from August 1," Zenit said in a website statement.
Zenit did not specify the terms of the deal.
Huszti arrived at Hannover's pre-season training camp Monday, German media reported.
Zenit put Huszti on the transfer list last month, alongside Serbian forward Danko Lazovic, Italian midfielder Alessandro Rosina and third-choice goalkeeper Dmitry Borodin.
All four were excluded from a pre-season training camp in Italy.
A Hungarian international since 2004, Huszti has 51 caps and has scored seven goals for his country.
