The Russian Foreign Ministry will publish a second report on the human rights situation in the world, the ministry’s point man for human rights said on Wednesday.
The first report, slamming violations in the United States, EU countries and Georgia, was released last December.
It could also start publishing special, thematic and country reports, the ministry’s Konstantin Dolgov said.
“The idea is to ensure comprehensive, intensive monitoring of the human rights situation in the world on the premise that human rights and fundamental freedoms are universal,” he said.
“Therefore they must be observed by all states without exception.”
