Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Magomed Ozdoev has received a four-match ban in the Russian Premier League for a shove on an opponent in their season-opening win over newly promoted Mordovia Saransk.

Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Magomed Ozdoev has received a four-match ban in the Russian Premier League for a shove on an opponent in their season-opening win over newly promoted Mordovia Saransk.

The Russian teenager lost his temper three minutes from time in Friday's match, which Lokomotiv won 3-2, receiving a straight red card for a push on Mordovia midfielder Ivan Kuleshov in retaliation for a late tackle.

A Russian FA statement said the ban was issued for his "aggressive conduct."

Ozdoev, 19 switched to Lokomotiv from Dynamo Kiev in 2010, scoring two goals in 44 appearances. He was called up for Dick Advocaat's provisional Euro 2012 squad but left off the final list.

The ban rules him out for matches against Krylya Sovietov Samara, FC Krasnodar, Alania Vladikavkaz, and FC Volga.
