Dynamo Moscow’s new caretaker coach Dmitry Khokhlov is hoping for a better showing against Dundee United than last week’s 2-2 draw when his team host the Scots on Thursday, he told R-Sport on Monday.
Khokhlov replaces Sergei Silkin, who resigned four games into the season Monday after a 4-0 derby thrashing by Spartak Moscow.
“I’d like to show a game of a higher class than in recent matches,” Khokhlov said.
“Tomorrow I’ll meet the team and we’ll talk.”
Khokhlov is a former Dynamo, PSV Eindhoven and Real Sociedad player who worked on the coaching staff under Silkin.
He won 53 caps for Russia between 1996 and 2005.
