Azerbaijan’s Toghrul Asgarov won the gold medal in the men’s freestyle 60 kilogram wrestling division at the Olympics on Saturday.
Asgarov defeated reigning world champion Besik Kudukhov of Russia 3-0 on points in the final, winning the first round 1-0 with a minor throw before racking up three throws in the second as he won 5-0.
Bronze medals went to India’s Yogeshwar Dutt and Scott Coleman of the United States.
Dutt beat North Korea’s Ri Jong Myong 3-1 on points, while Coleman beat Japan’s Kenichi Yumoto 3-1 on points.
