Russia’s Anastasia Baryshnikova and Mexico’s Maria Espinoza won Olympic bronze in the women’s +67 kilogram taekwondo on Saturday.
Baryshnikova clinched victory over beat Lee Injong of South Korea by sudden death point in overtime after the first three rounds ended in a 6-6 draw, making for a final score of 7-6.
Espinoza racked up the crucial points in round three to beat Glenhis Hernandez of Cuba after draws in the first two rounds, winning 4-2 overall.
The gold medal final between Anne-Caroline Graffe of France and Milica Mandic of Serbia is later Saturday.
