Five members of the Russian synchronized swimming team, Maria Gromova, Anastasia Davydova, Natalya Ishchenko, Svetlana Romashina, and Elvira Khasyanova, as well as gymnast Yevgenia Kanayeva, were awarded the 4th class Order of Service to the Fatherland. “Medals have no ethnicity, and this is our common victory,” London 2012 Olympic gold medalist Tagir Khaibulayev said at the meeting with the president.
