A spokesman for Vladimir Putin has dismissed a recent report by opposition politician Boris Nemtsov criticizing the Russian president's luxurious lifestyle as a "pseudo-exposé."
"It is regretful that such attempts at pseudo-exposé are associated with opposition activity," Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.
The report, published earlier this month, itemizes what Nemtsov claims are Putin's luxury properties, including villas, aircraft, cars and wrist watches.
"Only a schizophrenic can claim that you are flying Putin's planes," Peskov said.
Nemtsov has not commented.
The politician has previously released several reports into what he says is the systemic corruption of Putin's rule.
