Russia coach Fabio Capello has decided to drop playmaker Alan Dzagoev ahead of Russia's match with Israel on Tuesday in favor of striker and occasional left winger Alexander Kokorin.
The other change to the starting lineup sees midfielder Viktor Faizulin, who scored Russia's first goal in a 2-0 home win over Northern Ireland on Friday, replaced by Denis Glushakov.
Israel coach Eli Guttmann made five changes from his team's 1-1 away draw with Azerbaijan on Friday, including bringing West Ham United midfielder Yossi Benayoun and ex-Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim back into the team.
The other new faces are midfielders Hen Ezra, Almog Cohen and Maharan Radi, who wins his first cap.
