Russia international Alexander Kokorin will be out of action for the next ten days after suffering a thigh injury during the World Cup qualifier against Israel.
The Dynamo Moscow striker limped off before half time after scoring his first international goal in Tuesday's 4-0 win.
“A medical examination revealed a thigh muscle injury, however it is not very serious. It will take about 10 days for the forward to recover,” Dynamo reported on their website Wednesday.
The 21 year old will miss the next Russian Premier League game against FC Rostov on Sunday, and is uncertain for the home game against Amkar Perm on September 22.
Kokorin has hit four goals for Dynamo during a wretched start to the season that has left them bottom of the standings after six defeats in their first seven league games.
