Roman Grigoryan's injury-time strike snatched a 3-2 comeback victory for Krylya Sovetov at newly promoted Mordovia Saransk in the Russian Premier Legaue on Monday.
The Russian midfielder pounced upon a perfectly weighted through pass by the excellent Luis Caballero and smashed the ball past Dmitry Abakumov in the Mordovia goal in the 92nd minute.
The teams went into the dressing room at one goal apeice after a rocket free kick from Evgeny Osipov canceled out an early header from Alexandru Epureanu.
The hosts went ahead on the hour mark through Anton Vober's penalty after the Moldovan-born Epureanu sent Ruslan Mukhametshin tumbling in the area.
Russian midfielder Pyotr Nemov looked to have grabbed a point for the visitors when he hammered the ball home from a canny through ball from Caballero.
But Grigoryan stole it for Krylya in stoppage time. There was still time for Mordovia to hit the post through Yury Kuleshov in desperate search of a second equalizer that never came.
Krylya, who barely escaped relegation last season, move from 13th to 10th with the win, while Mordovia stay 14th.
Earlier Monday, another last-gasp goal sealed a 3-2 win, for Amkar Perm against FC Volga.
The win pushed Amkar to sixth on 15 points, one behind Zenit St. Petersbug and Lokomotiv Moscow, who share fourth.
