Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba trained separately from the rest of the team Tuesday ahead of Barcelona's Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.
Alba missed his team's 4-1 over Getafe with illness and his participation in the Spartak game had been in doubt, although Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova said Tuesday: "He can train."
In the 20 minutes of the session open to the media , Alba split from the main group after five minutes and jogged laps of the Camp Nou pitch with a coach.
Injury doubt Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez remained with the main group throughout, as did striker David Villa, who recently returned from eight months on the sidelines.
A surprise inclusion was B team forward Gerardo Deulofeu.
