Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Andriy Dikan is an injury doubt for his club’s Champions League match against Celtic on Tuesday after picking up a shoulder injury Saturday, the club has said.
Ukraine international Dikan was substituted at half-time in Spartak’s 2-1 win away at Amkar Perm and replaced by 23-year-old reserve stopper Sergei Pesyakov.
“Dikan has a shoulder injury,” Spartak said on Twitter.
“How long he’ll be out of the side will become clear after a medical examination.”
Dikan, 35, has eight caps for Ukraine and missed his home tournament of Euro 2012 after sustaining severe facial injuries in a clash with Zenit St. Petersburg Alexander Kerzhakov in March.
