A competition for the largest pumpkin in Latvia was won by Daine Badovska from the city of Skrunda for her 165-kilogram (364-pound) gourd, contest organizer Ivars Andinysh told reporters on Tuesday.
Last year, Badovska also took first place.
Second place this year for the largest pumpkin that weighed in at 117 kilograms (258 pounds) was taken by Inna Kazlovska, and third place winner was Valdis Magonis with a 110-kilogram pumpkin.
The world record for the largest pumpkin was set in September 2012 by Ron Wallace of Greene, Rhode Island, with a monster that weighed 2,009 pounds.
The pumpkin contest has been held in Latvia for the last seven years.
