The show was of special interest to the people of Grozny. The collections were warmly received by the show’s guests, who included the Chechnya’s top politicians.
The designers pushed the boundaries of traditional clothing style, using their imagination to create various colorings and decorations for the dresses. All garments were made from fabric with exotic and bright patterns, some decorated with stones and rhinestones.
The designers’ idea was to mix traditional silhouettes, ethnic ornaments and bright colors to symbolize respect for history and modern times, which go together in today’s Chechnya.
The finale showcased a wedding gown decorated with fabric flowers and edging laces. Instead of a kerchief, the model wore a transparent bridal veil so the audience could see her hairstyle.
