MOSCOW, November 8 (R-Sport) – Barcelona routed CSKA Moscow 81-60 on the road Thursday to inflict the first Euroleague defeat on the Muscovites this season.
CSKA, which won all four of its previous games in Group D, retained second place while Barcelona is top with five victories.
Juan Carlos Navarro was top scorer for Barcelona with 21 points, while Nenad Krstic racked up 18 points for the hosts.
Xavier Pascual’s men did most of the damage in a 25-13 third quarter and sealed the victory with an 18-12 fourth.
Former Toronto Raptors forward Sonny Weems had a quiet game with 4 points.
Next week, Barcelona faces Brose Baskets and CSKA plays Lietuvos Rytas.
