KRASNODAR, November 30 (R-Sport) - Alexander Martinovich scored a winner four minutes into second-half stoppage time Friday to give FC Krasnodar a dramatic 2-1 comeback win over FC Kuban in a Russian Premier League derby.
The game looked to be heading for a draw when Yevgeny Shipitsin slid in low to direct Joaozinho's cross past Alexander Belenov in the Kuban goal on 85 minutes.
Aras Ozbiliz had put Kuban ahead in the 55th minute, barging past two Krasnodar defenders and arrowing a low shot across the goalkeeper and into the far corner.
Belarusian defender Martinovich volleyed in a free kick from Brazilian forward Wanderson at the death to give his team a barely deserved win.
Krasnodar leapfrog Dynamo Moscow into ninth on 25 points with the win.
Yuri Krasnozhan's Kuban go fourth to 32 points, but both teams could lose their positions by the end of the weekend.
Later Friday, champions Zenit St. Petersburg play Spartak Moscow in the capital.
On Saturday, Dynamo Moscow host Rubin Kazan, Lokomotiv Moscow travel to Alania Vladikavkaz and FC Volga entertain Terek Grozny.
Sunday sees the match of the weekend, with the table-top clash of CSKA Moscow versus Guus Hiddink's Anzhi Makhachkala.
David Bentley's FC Rostov face Krylya Sovietov later in the day before Mordovia Saransk and Amkar Perm wrap up the round of games on Monday.
