MOSCOW, December 2 (R-Sport) - A goal in each half helped FC Rostov hand a seventh-straight defeat to a woeful Krylya Sovetov side Sunday.

Hosts Krylya, who finished the match with ten men after Ibrahim Tsallagov was sent off in unclear circumstances, are 14th and have not won in a 10-game streak stretching back to September.

Rostov rise to 11th.

Dragan Blatnjak put Rostov ahead on six minutes when he lashed the ball into the back of the net with the Krylya defense in disarray and unable to clear the ball.

Edgaras Cesnauskis made it 2-0 on 74 minutes with some help from Krylya goalkeeper Denis Vavilin, who parried the Lithuanian’s powerful effort over the line.

In scoring, Cesnauskis made amends for a notable early miss when he dribbled clear of the sluggish Krylya defense but shot straight at Vavilin.

Tsallagov received a straight red card on 63 minutes after the referee appeared to take offense to a comment from the Krylya midfielder, 21.

The hosts upped their game after being reduced to ten men, but poor finishing let them down.

Evgeny Balyaikin scooped the ball over the bar from a good position and moments later ex-Blackpool Sergei Kornilenko saw his effort stopped by Vavilin’s sharp reaction save.
