MEXICO, January 6 (RIA Novosti) - The Honduran ambassador to Colombia resigned on Saturday after his aide’s alcohol-fuelled party in the embassy premises, the El Heraldo daily reported.
The government requested “immediate and irrevocable” resignation of Carlos Rodriguez after his personal aide organized a party for friends in the embassy building on December 20. Two women were invited, whom Colombian Police Col. Jose Elias Baquero described as “contracted women.”
The party-goers stole two laptops from the embassy and are currently being searched by police.
It is not immediately clear whether the ambassador attended the party.
