Cirque du Soleil is conducting the final rehearsals for its new show, “Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour.”

The show, dedicated to the work of the King of Pop, will take place at Olimpiisky sports complex from January 22 to 27.

People who worked with Michael Jackson will take part in the show as choreographers, costume designers and musicians.

Jamie King, the director of the show, was one of the main dancers in the Dangerous World Tour from 1992 to 1994. The show’s musical director, Greg Phillinganes, worked on most of Jackson’s albums, including his last work, Michael.

Well known New York designer Zaldy Goco was involved in designing the costumes for the show. Goco has worked for many global music stars, including the show “This is It,” Michael Jackson’s final, and unfinished, project. Photo: costume designer Nick Modell before a rehearsal.

Tara Young, left, the artistic director, said that this is Cirque du Soleil’s most elaborate touring show, featuring a unique transforming stage, powerful illumination, sound and original video content projected on huge screens.

“Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour” was created with the support of the Jackson family, partly because Michael Jackson was a big fan of Cirque du Soleil and never missed a new show.
