MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russians’ salaries will at least double by 2030, according to a forecast of Russia’s long-term social and economic development until 2030 published by the Social and Economic Development Ministry on Tuesday.
In line with the forecast, pensions will more than triple by 2030.
As of late 2012, Russia’s average monthly wage amounted to some 26,500 rubles ($882) and the country’s average pension totaled about 9,100 rubles ($303).
Inflation in Russia will remain higher than in developed countries until 2022-2023, the forecast says. In 2012, inflation was 6.6 percent.
