DUSHANBE, February 18 (RIA Novosti) - Tajikistan’s law enforcement agencies held antiterrorism exercises on Monday, the Central Asian country’s Interior Ministry said.
“During the exercises held on the ministry’s initiative, special units of law enforcement and security agencies practiced coordination during a hypothetical terrorist threat,” ministry spokesman Makhmadullo Asadulloyev said.
The drills were held at the Fahrabad training ground 40 km south of the country’s capital Dushanbe, Asadulloyev said.
The exercises were aimed at boosting the combat readiness of law enforcers.
