MOSCOW, February 24 (RIA Novosti) - Two people were injured as a train collided with a car in the northwest of the Moscow Region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry has reported.
“A commuter train bound from Moscow to the town of Shakhovskaya collided with a car at a passive railroad crossing in the Volokolamsk District of the Moscow Region on Saturday evening,” the ministry said.
It was not immediately clear whether those injured were riding inside the car.
The injured people were brought to a local hospital. Rail traffic was not disrupted.
In mid-February, two people, the driver and the passenger of a car, were killed as a train collided with a car in the Stupino District in the south of the Moscow Region.
