MOSCOW, April 21 (R-Sport) - Emin Garibov clinched the gold medal in the high bar at the European gymnastics championships in Moscow on Sunday, rounding off the event in fitting style with a victory for the hosts.
The Russian scored 15.433 points on a routine of immense difficulty to retain the title he won in Montpellier, France, last year.
Britain's Sam Oldham claimed the silver with the help of a double-twisting double layout to score 15.133, while Alexander Tsarevich of Belarus took the bronze with a triple tuck dismount for 14.833.
The event was the last of the three-day competition.
