MINSK, April 23 (RIA Novosti) – The Belarusian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday its warplane had not violated Lithuanian airspace.
Last week Lithuanian authorities said a Belarusian MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter had intruded into the country’s airspace and remained there for about two minutes.
The flight took place “without violating the airspace,” a Belarusian Defense Ministry spokesman said.
That conclusion was based on data from automated command and control systems, he added.
