MOSCOW, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - US Secretary of State John Kerry will pay a working visit to Moscow on May 7-8, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported Tuesday.
The ministry’s statement did not reveal any details of the visit, but Russian media reported Kerry is expected to meet with President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss the Syrian crisis and the Iranian nuclear program, the fight against terrorism as well as Russia's ban on US adoptions of Russian children and civil society restrictions in Russia.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov last met with Kerry on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of the NATO-Russia Council in Brussels on April 23.
