BOCHAROV RUCHEI, SOCHI, May 10 (RIA Novosti) – Russia and the United Kingdom have agreed to set up a special group to work on energy projects, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
“Energy is one of the most promising spheres of cooperation, and we have agreed to form a special group that will deal with the promising projects,” Putin told journalists.
Cameron arrived in Russia’s Black Sea resort city of Sochi on Friday for talks with Putin.
Last year, trade between Russia and the UK grew by 10 percent, the Russian leader said adding that the British investment in Russia’s economy has reached almost $27 billion.
